NUTRO – A TALE OF TWO FARMS

In this animated short, created in collaboration with Notan Studio and narrated by Ian Somerhalder, the rural landscape becomes the stage for a visually captivating tale.

The story follows Arlo, an energetic and curious dog, and Sunny, a sensitive and observant cat, as they journey through two farms that share the same land—but not the same care. On one side lies a grey farm, defined by conventional agricultural practices: hardened soil, depleted nature. On the other, a vibrant farm—where the earth is nurtured, shade flourishes, diversity thrives, and life abounds.

The animation unfolds as a visual metaphor for the impact of our choices. Each frame is rich with detail—from the texture of the fields to the spark in the animals’ eyes—underscoring a deep commitment to visual storytelling. The careful use of light and color draws a stark contrast between degradation and regeneration, creating a sensory experience that both moves and enlightens.

By telling the story through the eyes of animals, the film rehumanizes our perspective and restores a sense of dignity to the land—a call to treat it with respect and intention.
