Texture Exploration

In this study, I explore gloss as a gesture, focusing on stroke, texture, and the intention behind the movement. The deep red against a white backdrop creates a strong, graphic contrast, while the subtle imperfections in the trace bring out its tactile quality.

The work is supported by precise 3D modeling of organic forms and realistic shader development, with a deeper focus on subsurface scattering (SSS) in Octane to achieve more convincing material response.
